Yoke Arm Mount

The pictures below show our Beechcraft Yoke Arm Mount.

Our yoke arm mount requires no modifications to the factory Beech yoke arm. The 3 primary components are:

By design, the assembly is light, rigid and stable, meaning that you can easily operate your GPS unit with one hand. Because of the arm's 90° bend, there are two adjustment axes so it is easy to adjust your GPS to an ideal viewing angle. Once you've found a setting that works for you, it stays where you want it and does not sag or wander. The adaptor fits single and dual yoke arms in V-up or V-down configuration.

The mount you see in the pictures is configured for an Ipaq PDA . We have used AnywhereMap for the last three years (and have been very pleased with it) but have recently upgraded to a Garmin 396 for its XM weather capability. Please click here to see our Garmin mount.

Here's a photo of our Ipaq mount in action taken in flight from the pilot's seat. Note the completely unobstructed view of the "6-pack" main flight instruments, the radio stack and the main engine instruments and fuel gauges. For some reason, the Ipaq screen is reflecting light in this photo, probably because the camera is not quite where my eye normally is. In practice, once adjusted to suit your preference, glare and reflections are absolutely not an issue.
